Ripoff is a SCAM to get your $ Do not pay them!

6/20/07My husband recieved a phone call stating he was in "collections" for over $200.00 from Sirius radio. My husband did indeed have Sirius about 2 years ago but our account has been closed with a zero balance since over a year ago. They couldn't give him any info over the phone, and gave him a call back # that when called wouldn't accept incoming calls. He was at work so I looked up the company name on the internet to get customer service.

After calling about 8 times, and being put on hold and then hung up on I started to get suspicious. I confirmed with Sirius that we indeed did not have a balance and they never sent anything to collections. Then I started to read online about others who have had similiar experience with this so called collection agency. I called back and got a live person demanding she not hang up on me, after explaining the situation, she tried to ask for my husband's social #, which I would not give, then tried to tell me that the whole thing was probably just a mistake, and that I should realize how many people have the same name as my husband and that I should just forget about it. I flipped out and she started to get angry back at me. I told her to look him up by his phone number since the company called him on it. She of course could not find him in their system and again told me to just forget about it that it is probably nothing.

I think they are total scammers grasping for other people's money. Everyone that answered was rude, not helpful, and couldn't care less. I feel sorry for the people that take this company serious and pay them for lying. Do not fall for it, stand your ground, and demand some answers!!!
