Unauthorized debit from bank account EDBITPAY

I got a letter from my bank stating that my account was overdrawn. I knew that i was close to my limit, but overdrawn was something that I knew that I hadn't done. When I got my statement from the bank there was a charge to my account for $159.95. I immediately contacted my bank for the issue. After talking with them I recieved a phone number, 800-430-0672, and name of the company, EDP Reporting. I called the number and listened to a recording talk to me for about 12 minutes before telling me that I had been on hold to long and to contact the company through their website, edpreporting.com.

I attempted this. No response was ever recieved. I figured I would check the phone number that was given to me. I pulled up one match to the phone number. It directed me to another report from this site from another member. The other statement matched mine. The number given, the nonablility to contact anyone from the company, even the amounts were all the same as what I was having. I contacted my bank for the issue. They had me go into the branch an fill out a rebuttal for this. I also had the chance to educate them on this situation and what my research had found. For the next person to see this. Don't contact the company. Go directly to your bank with this information I have given. This company is a SCAM!
