For at&t fraud

Well about 3 weeks ago i received a letter from this company stating they were from AT&T, we talked about my bill that happened 4yrs ago and came to a settlement. I lost the number to this company the day i was supposed to make a payment so i got online and saw this place which got me worried. I quickly contacted AT&T and spent 2hrs on the phone with them to be told that i did not have an open balance. They also told me that this Palisades Collection has no affiliation with AT&T and does not know how they have my information. I have filed a dispute with Equifax and need to wait 1 month for the decision. Do not be fooled by this company do checks on any company who sends you mail and thank you all for this site with out it i would have fallen victim to the Palisade company..
