Don't ever work for them

I need a job, always wanted to be a consultant and figured how bad could it be? I was wrong. Like business owners, I would suggest performing your due dilligence prior to an engagement with this firm. I went through the training and saw "consultants" who did not possess basic math skills. Your travel expenses will not be covered by their program. Also, if you leave they will ignore your expense report and you will be out several hundred if not thousands of dollars. I don't care how bad you need the work... Don't work at IPA, it will cost you more money than you will earn.

Business owners, ask if the Business Analyst is qualified. I was, unlike most of my peers (I never mentioned that I worked for IPA and was hired by a legitimate consulting firm). If the Business Analyst has no degree, no experience, no advanced degree ask them to leave. They will give you a song and dance about calling the office... IT IS YOU BUSINESS, IF YOU CARE ABOUT IT THROW THEM OUT.

I know of instances where the SBA was asked to leave, the SBA calls back to the office where they are told not to leave and the authorties are called to remove the IPA employee from the property. Normal businesses do not operate this way, it is a high pressure high dollar sale. Protect yourself.
