Capital Depot - DBA NETWORK FUNDING
Liars, deceptive and predatory lending practices

Business & Finance

During a family crisis we contacted these creatures for a HELOC. After a number of conversations, by phone, we had submitted by fax all the required information. Despite 3 requests for them to fax us a copy of the contract we received nothing, instead they promised to do so to string us along. After they set a closing date, we still received nothing, instead being told we could inspect the contract at closing. At the title insurance agency for closing we were pressured to "just sign" all the papers. Only afterward did we discover that: on a $30,000 HELOC Network Funding took out a $9,000 "funding fee", as well as over $1,000 in other miscellaneous charges. The interest rate is prime plus a 17.5% margin, currently 25.25%! Yes, we were tricked, and stupid, to go along with this, but needed the money at the time. Folks, these people are RIPOFF scum, do NOT do business with these blood suckers!!!
