Ripped me off of money I didn't or better yet could not afford to pay

I contacted a debt consolidation to help me pay my bills which were getting high due to my detoriating health. They gave me Hess Kennedy. I talked with them on the phone gave them some of the information they needed. They recorded my voice for the sign up. Things got worse for me and I could not raise the money needed so I cancelled the contract first be e-mail and then to the accounting dept. But what is amazing they did not record that or give me a fax number to quit. I live on social security aqnd the outrages fee plus my illness was overcoming. I was assured that they cancelled me and now I find that they took the money out of my account anyway When we called them they were very rude and said that I was recorded accepting the offer but How come I was not recorded cancelling??? And I did not get aqny papers for the contract and have not heard from them since this started last Oct. People like me and lots of others are trying to pay their bills and then still get ripped off WE need to stop them
