Ripoff Elderly Mother in Virginia Displaced by Fairbanks Capital Corporation

Continuosly we contacted Fairbanks to inform them payments had been sent. We even faxed in checks that had been cashed by this company. But, to no avail. Then they proclaimed that they had paid insurance on the property. We again had all the paperwork showing that the insurance was paid by us.By the time they finished with so - called late fees and so called payments not being received and a bunch of mumble jumble about escrow accounts. They claimed that we were behind over $3000.00 on the note. Two payments were sent to them and sent back because they said they were not enough. Payments were (so they said) never collected. This is where the photo copies of cashed checks came into play. We were asked to fax them in. When this was done and we called them they referred us to the office in Florida.By the time all was said and done my mother was forced to leave her home that she had resisded in for over thirty years. We were involved in a class action suit that awarded here $600.00 on here home that was valued at $45,000.00. What has been done about this company? Where are all the key players now? My Mother still talk about her home that was stolen from her and at 73 yrs of age will carry this to her death.
