Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance, is owned by Berkshire/Hatahaway, 1440 Kiewit Plaza, Omaha, NE 68131, Warren E. Buffet, CEO, and William Gates sits on their board.

Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance, rarely repossess a manufactured home because they do not want to be legally liable for lot rent or presonal property tax.

They leave these, if you will, abandoned manufactured homes in the manufactured home communities unattended, to the point they become an attractive nuisance, vandilized and an overall blight to the community were the manufactured home is located. Apparently, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc., believes the manufactured home communities are responsible to do routine lot maintaince on their "willfully abandoned" assets.

If you, or anyone you know of has surrendered their manufactured home, for any reason, make sure you contact the auditor's office in your area to make sure the home has been taken out of your name or you will continue to be responsible for any and all taxes.

Our company, per court order and direction of bailiff, removed homes belonging to Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, as well as the many Doing Business As, names. Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finace make false statements reporting them stolen, to get out of paying what they owe.

Apparently, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance believes they are exempt from the LAW!
