Do not do business with them! Business Coach, more like Stormtrooper Salespersons

Two weeks ago I ordered the SMC start-up kit for $299.95, and it arrived this Monday (2-12-07). I was pretty excited. Tuesday, SMC called me to arrange an appointment with a Business Coach. Sure, sounds good. The business coach called me promptly at the appointed time and from that second on, she was trying to sell me websites, gift cards, and more catalogs than I could throw out the window.

I already had my idea of setting up my own website and perhaps setting up a booth at a Peddlers mall. (Set the stuff up with prices, people walk through, and pay for it at a register. Kinda like an automated flea market without the haggling..)

Anyway... She didn't seem to like my ideas and said I need to be more aggressive in distributing my catalogs and wanted me to buy a Gift Card Rememption website, only $500 bucks. Pretty much every idea she suggested had me shelling out over $500 or more bucks. Anyway, Debra (oops, did I say her name?) become a bit combatative and condescinding and had me make another appointment next week so I would have time to put together my first order. My first order?

For a moment I thought I was in Gatlinburg, TN being hassled to buy a timeshare! Like someone else mentioned, these Business Coaches are nothing but agressive and rude sales people, and they completely soured any future dealings I might have had with them.

After I got off the phone with her, I immediately called the support # and told them I wanted to cancel my account. They sent me to a FIFTEEN minute recording that I had to listen to, to get the info I needed to cancel. To cancel, you have to send the kit to one location, and then the postal receipt and a letter asking them to cancel, to another location! I did that today and we'll see how fast they refund my money.

Be vary wary of these people!
