MNI illegally took $29.65 from checking account No authorization to do so and refused to refund any money

Credit monitoring using my social security number (unauthrzd) MNI took money ($9.95) from my checking account for three months straight (total of $29.85) without my knowledge and without authorization and refused to refund. I never signed up with the service. They stole my identity, illegally obtaining my bank account debit card number.

Called to try to get refund for $9.95 which I later discovered was actually $29.85 (MNI reps didn't tell me that). Went from Eric in customer service to "Angela", supervisor. "Angela" read from rehearsed script to deny a refund She would not provide physical address of building or CEO's name. Would not let me talk to "Maria" in the Complaint Department, she "Angela" said her (Maria's) mail box was full so I could not leave a voice message either. And, she also said that it would be a while before "Maria" would get back to me since she is so busy.

The fact is I never have given out out my checking account number or credit card number to a credit reporting agency.

Mighty Net, Inc. Claimed to be monitoring my Social Security number and emailing me a report every month (I never received these though MNI offered to resend them).

MNI's "Angela" stated that you cannot cancel online either

The big problem here is they (Mighty Net, Inc.) removed money out of an account I only use to transfer money to my kids accounts at the same credit union when they (my kids) ask me to cash their checks. So, this illegal withdrawal of funds from my credit union checking account caused my account to be overdrawn and I was charged $26.00 for insufficient funds!
