Fake Loans with insurance deposit that are never returned

I recieved a phone call one day while I was contacting banks regarding loans. It was A man named Maxwell Dent. (Probaly a fake name). He had a solution for my finacial problems. He offerd me a ten thousand dollar loan with 6% interest. But I needed some kind of collateral. Either a car fully paid off. A co-signer with A-1 credit or a insurance deposit of 3 months of payments. Well not having the first two options I chose the Insurance deposit. Wired it to him via Western Union. To a canadian location. He stated that the finacial offices are in canada.

I was suppossed to receive the money in three days. Never did. When I called him back he said there was an issue with the funds and that I needed to raise another 1000 dollars to get them re-issued. Sceptical and foolish I sent it. When I called three days later to find out where my money was. He stated he made a mistake and that he had put me on the refund list. He told me that there was no way to reverse the process. That he tried and talked to his bosses. But He had to return the funds to me. I said ok just give me my money back. He told me that on the contract he sent to me it stated that refunds could take from 30- 60 days. So I waited and called him many times. But then he stopped anwsering his phone calls and stopped receiving emails.

I hope knowone else has to deal with losing that kind of cash.
