I went on the internet to try to find me a personal loan & ran upon EZ Group loans, so I filled out the application. A company by the name of Sunshield Solutions sent me a email saying my loan was approved at a 7% rate & the amount it was approved for was $7,000.00 & I was so excited. Later that week I was phoned by this guy name Marvin Carter & was told I have to have collateral. He told me I could either use my house as collateral or have a cosigner or put up a deposit for $786.00. I chose to send the money for collateral. I was sent a copy of a contract online that I had to make copies of and sign the contract & then send the money through Western Union. He stated the money would be put in my account in 6 hours once he recieved my payment. I waited that day & nothing posted. So the next day I called the bank & nothing posted. I started to get suspicious then. So later that day I went back online & started browing & then I got a pop up that stated Ez group loans which Sunshield Solutions is part of was a scam. I read a lady's story that was just like mine & the steps I took to get this non excistent loan & thats when I knew I had been scammed. I was devastated. I called that Marvin Carter guy the following monday & he told me my loan was on hold & I needed to purchase some insurance through them on the loan. I told him I read were they were a scam & I wasnt going to send them anymore money. I also said I wanted my money back that I sent them already. He told me I could get my money back & they would send it to me that week. Its been almost three weeks & I have received NOTHING from them. I have tried to phone him so many times but he will not answer phone. I know if this was a real loan company they would not be out of the office that much & somebody would at least answer the phone. Something definitely need to be done about this so called fake company. I am so angry at myself for being so dumb & Im angry that they have gotten away with this for so long. Please investigate this company for sure.
