LLC - Ocwen Federal Bank Where did my money go? False late payments reported to our credit report, Impossible to get a straight answer, Liars! Liars! Liars!

Our loan was transferred to Ocwen after 6 months of buying our home. From the beginning they were hard to deal with. We did not even know they were our new servicer until 3 months after our transfer date.

They told us our loan payments were current, when in fact I knew we were behind 1 month. So the payments we made were put onto the current months due instead of the previous month.

We had delinquent taxes that Ocwen was supposed to pay in March no one wanted to own up to owing and finally 6 months later Ocwen finally paid our taxes. So we faxed a request to un-escrow our account since we had a huge overage in our escrow account and decided to pay our taxes on our own. We waited weeks and weeks, and never received a check for our escrow balance, only to find out that they never processed it and they said we called to re-escrow our account.

We made our interest only payments to them as scheduled and they applied our payments to our principal instead and then sent us late notices with huge late fees. We talked to supervisors who said they would fix it, but never did.

Our loan was again sold/transferred to our company whom we were originally with when we bought our home and that was 5 months ago and Ocwen still has not transferred our escrow balance to them, so now are taxes show delinquent with our new servicer.

Ocwen reported to the new servicer that we were current on our payments and we did not owe anything until Jan. 2007. Which was completely incorrect. We owed our new servicer still for payments thru the end of the year.

Upon trying to re-finance and get out of this mess, we found out that Ocwen reported a 30 day and a 90 day and a 120 day late on our credit reports, which is completely inaccurate. If we were supposedly that late with them, how come they cashed our checks we sent every month and applied them to our loan.

I disputed the information with the credit bureaus and Ocwen is still reporting we were that late.

We cannot get anywhere with them, we can only fax information to their different departments, we can't actually talk to them. The supervisors say they are going to fix things that they have messed up and don't. Now we cannot get re-financed at a good interest rate because they put false information on our credit report. Plus someone has our $1,200.00 that is supposed to be in our escrow account to pay our taxes and insurance and nobody says they have it.

What does one do when dealing with a company like this?
