Ripoff Fraudulent Billing

I received the same letter that everyone seems to be writing about from AFNI Collections dated January 2. They claim that I owe $1,210.02 to Verizon Communications. The phone number listed in for a phone in Illinois. I have never lived in Illinois, nor have I ever had any association with Verizon.

I had tried to call repeatedly and only got a busy signal. However, after reading some of these other stories, I will send a certified letter requesting verification. I will also report them to the BBB and contact my credit reports.
