OK so I am 30 years old and never got a credit card before paid cash and never even took out credit for a car. I decided to get a credit card due to the fact that I want to purchase a home and need to show revolving credit. Now due to Premier I probably have a negative credit report. I have had this credit card for three months and its been a mess. I new about the upfront fees of $178 and only a $250 limit. Heres my problem with this company. Even before I got the credit card I got a $20 bill from them for amount due. Thats fine I payed that. Then all of a sudden no bills for two months. Then I get a call last week stating that I owed $340. I requested a bill sent to me. They charged me for a co-y fee. So they sent it to the right address so I know they have my address so why no bill? I get a call today threatening me to pay it over the bill over the phone. Today is Jan 4 and the bill isn't due till Jan 16th. I then told them I would send in the payment by the 15th. The caller then said she would charge me another late fee if I did that. I said fine I will send in a money order because I dont want to pay the $25 quick collect fee. She then stated they don't take money orders but will take checks. Also she stated that if I pay today she would wave off $40 of the fees. I requested to talk to a manager first she told me no. I then requested for a number to file a complaint and her name which she refused both. I finaly told her I would do the check-by phone if I could talk to a manager. That got me one. He stated they do accept money orders but he would wave a $100 if I pay over the phone early. I was about to do this and the mgr ever said he would wave the quick-collect fee. I said so that would be $125 waived. He then stated no that would be $36. He said he never told me the $100 dollars and that was after I paid it over the phone. Will be sending the rest of the money in so I can cancel this credit card.
