Talk is expensive, services a ripoff Addison

After looking for a debt management plan online, CS convinced me that they were the "new" way to settle debt. It took only a couple of months to realize that they were seriously hurting me financially, and I felt that I was doing more work than them!

The welcome package I was to receive came only after I called them three times over several weeks' time. I continued to call them repeatedly about concerns I had and was never satisfied with their responses; I knew something was wrong, but I was told over and over that everything was fine. I later discovered that even though CS told me they worked with all my creditoors, that was not true, according to all the creditors. Some companies NEVER work with them; they just file a lawsuit against you for nonpayment.

When I finally decided to opt out of the program, I was told that my creditors would be notified immediately. A couple of weeks later, they were still not notified!

I have since been told by my creditors that at least I got out of the program before irreversible damage was done. My biggest concern is for those who continue to believe in the power of CS. All they do is take your money and put you in a terrible financial bind.
