Nco told me account could still be reported w/credit agency despite my dispute on account

Well i filed a previous report today, regarding another unlawful debt with columbia house company (refer to "columbia house. Article for a better look at what I have to deal with during finals!)

Despite various attempts to contact columbia house thru their bogus telephone lines.
... The unvalid account has been sold to nco financial systems, another desiteful collection company.

Their Rep, Victoria told me the account could still get reported on my credit, despite any disputes I had concerning the validity of the Debt. I was prompted to make payment arrangements, for end of January and give my bank info.

Questioning the validity of her statement... I have sent them a letter which states all collection efforts must cease if debt is desputed w/in 30 days

I have also cancelled any payment arrangements made, seriously threatning to sue if funds are still withdrawn without Auth. (I read they managed to piss off a few more consumers, stating there are no cancellations on payment arrangements and still withdrawing un-auth funds from accts. If anyone has been successful in obtaining NCO Financial's fax #... Or even a Columbia house 1-800# that actully connects u to a live rep..
