Ripoff sure wish we paid attention to all the LLI warnings!

I've been reading these reports for months and decided to share what happend to us with LLI. My husband and I were involved for almost 2 years. We both have college degrees and wanted something that would allow us to work together and travel. When I heard the opportunity call, I thought wow! We immediatley jummped on board. We didn't buy all three levels, just the BF and decided to see how that went.

We started placing ads, buying leads, setting up splash pages, ect. I had ads in tons of newspapers and magazines. Yet, I was getting very few calls on my 800#. Then it was buying leads. We spent a fortune on these and they were a waste of time and money. We brought expensive ones and cheap ones and there was really no difference in either. After about 3 monhts we made our first two traning sales. We treated LL like it was our religion. We were told not to pay attention to all the negativity about LL.

When we would approach our summit advisor about all the difficulties we were having, the only explination was that we needed to step up to the next level and buy summit tickets. If we were have a very hard time selling something that was $1500, how would buying summit tickets benefit us? Alltogether we spent about 40k in this. We did make 3k. The people we brought in have all quit too.

To anyone who is considering joining LL, please pay close attention to all the warnings. I sure wish we had. We are in the worst financial situation of our lives. I have spoken with many ex-LLs who share a common story with us.
