Two night I received telephone calls that hung up.By phoning the numbers I was told by recording that it was American Express. The office was closed even with me getting a call from them.in the next two days I received a letter from them saying I owed them thousands of dollars on my account. I have not had a American Express Card for almost two decades.

I called them and they said it was from 1987. I said thats twenty years ago and at that time they said so. You still owe this amount. I told them that in 1987 I went Bankrupt due to loss of employment. Even that seemed to not phase them. They said they could still call me. About the debt. I said they should not phone me anymore. What kind of a company tries to collect twenty year old debts.
