First usa is a dishonest and unethical mortgage company in canoga park

In respect for the above named business, FIRST USA MORTGAGE, I have some interesting information. FIRST, if you are considering a refinance or new mortgage DO NOT take one out with them! I'm an ex employee and the following is the kind of tactics they use to get to you!

First they buy a bulk of private listings from banking and mortgage institutions. They will have your private information such as name, address, phone number and Mortgage Company and the amount left on the term. I do not think you want people to know your private information.

As an employee, at the start of 5 PM, we go down the list of the people. We say the same phrase over and over again. While we are doing so, someone is listening on the other end usually Cris or Freddie. WE have to introduce ourselves and get people to stay on the phone until they hang up or swear at us! While we are nearing the end of the line we have to cover the phone and yell TO (turnover) and someone will quickly run to the phone to seal the deal. If the person answers in Spanish, we immediately cover the phone and yell Spanish TO.

There was one example of a closer a black lady with whose name I can't remember pushed me to get to a phone before the consumer hung up.
Of course there are different rebuttals to every person. They thoroughly train you on this. The main ones include I'm not interested or I just took out a loan.in either case the person is not interested. But with a quota that needs to be met and as this ruthless organization goes we have to fight them.

In essence, they annoy the hell out of you during dinner time until they threaten you or hang up. If they try to ask for your address we do not tell. If they should be able to get the companies' number (it's blocked) they will laugh in your face. They can care less if you threaten them with a lawsuit.

On one night I had make a call that was disturbing. I called a lady whom breast was feeding her new born in an apartment. She was a bit agitated and told me not to call her back. I was yelled at by Cris for not turning it to a closer before she hung up! Cris made me call her back with the intention of her getting a mortgage with us (first she would have to buy a home, though.) She yelled at me, yelled DO I NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, and hung up on me. I couldn't blame her, and my heart unlike these jerks went out to her.

If you get any telemarketers say TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST. If you live in Southern California or anywhere this company buys bank records you may get their call. I would also inquire who the banks sell too. Some of these mortgage institutions are big names like Countrywide, Ameriquest, BofA, Washington Mutual and World Savings (to name a few.) Wherever you are taking a loan from, it's important to know if they sell YOUR INFO to 2nd hand parties like FIRST USA. They should by honest with you!

To sum it up, these people care less about you! Stay away from first usa in canoga park, ca!!!
