Scam

In July I received a letter from MCGC claiming I owed over $7,000. I sent MCGC a letter as instructed on this site, stating that I was unaware of any debt, owed by me... Etc. I never heard back from them even though I did request that they send me pertinent info including account numbers of this SO Called debt.

I did write to the Attorney General, State of Illinois and just received a letter relinquishing me of any such debt. Apparently it was a MISTAKE on the part of the original creditors with whom MCGC buys the SO Called debt from.
