Prepaid Mastercard... $159.95 deducted from my checking account was unauthorized Ripoff

On October 16th it came to my attention that Mastercard had deducted 159.95 out of my bank account. When i tried to call this company i was only provided the first 6 digits of the telephone number which was the only information the branch had. Well about 3-4 weeks later I was finally able to find information on the company.

Apparently the company EDP and i was provided with a tracking number, ID number and the name of the bank the money was drawn on. I called the 1800-430-0672 number was on hold for 35 minutes before someone hung up on me. I then called the bank which the money was drawn on and after being hung up on a couple times i was able to get through to someone who then told me they had no customer information and i had to take it up with EDP. I called EDp back at an alternate number the bank provided 1866-524-4204

I spoke to Valeska who was uncooperative. She stated well someone must have your account information and If you are saying this is fraud then take that up with your police department. I then said I think the fraud is on your part. Once I got hung up on I typed in the website they told me to look at and I found 100's of reports filed against your company. I didn't sign up for thi card, you have not mailed me this card, I do not want this card. She went on some speel about id theft and i say on your companies part. She basically gave me the speech i was prepared to hear seeing how everyone who ifled a report says they heard the same lines.

I was pissed and hung up basically they were not going to refund my money, she said something about 15 days and the card should've arrived. Today I called the company using a different extention and spoke to Vellia She gave me the fraud speech. And kept trying to over talk me when i was simply saying to her listen to me, this is what happned, this is what needs to happen, i have filed the police report, contacted the better business bureau, Am about to find an attorney and have writeen to the FTC. I refuse to be taken advantage of. No Vellia said I haven't recieved the card bcus the payment hasn't been recieved yet. Well then why tell me the payment was recieved yesterday. And you took the money ot of my account the same day I supposedly signed up for this card. You still haven't gotten it, not my problem it wasn't yours to begin with my account is in negative because of this and they tell me call the police. I won't stop til I am reimbursed and this company is stopped from victimizing people.
