Branch Banking and Trust, BB&T
Weekly $34 Fees and Only $71 Returned From Almost $500

I have been with BB&T (Branch Banking and Trust) here in Bowling Green for 5 years. They were great when I first came here, and then the fees came: $34.00 a pop. It got to the point that I was working for the bank. Every week, they would hold my check until something bounced, and then my check would be put in the minus with their wonderful fee!!! I tried to get money out of my account, and of course they said my money had not been deposited, but it was there, covering all my late fees. After we closed my account, and with my wife getting a little excited, they let me have my $71 and some change out of almost $500.00!!!
