Conesco Tries to collect on defunct loan account Ripoff

On April 16, I bought a mobile home from Quality Mobile Home Sales in Wausaw, Wisconsin, for $33,227.12. This was financed through Greentree, which likes to swith from Greentree to Conesco and back again. You never know what they will call themselves on any given day.
At the time of the purchase, I was working full time and, over a period of time, paid in about $16,000 dollars. While paying on this 16 x 80 mobile home, my employer sold to another company, and I lost my job due to that. Having no means to make payments because of this involuntary job loss, Greentree advised me to vacate the mobile home and give it back to them, which I did.
They wrote me a letter here, stating they sold the moblie home for $10,000 dollars. I find that hard to believe for a large mobile home sale price. Now they are calling here, and writing me notes, saying I owe them $25,000 dollars.
I have a feeling many payments I made were not credited to my account. They claim I owe $25,000 dollars, but they totally fail to prove that. I have no idea where this figure comes from. Simply, the math does not work.
Mark Rossi, at Greentree Central Recovery Department, extension 35234, is funny. He will not tell you his last name on the phone, but he will put it on those nasty notes they love to send, and think people are actually foolish enough to believe what he has to say, but what he completely fails to prove.
If you do not own property, you do not pay on it. When I gave the mobile home back to Greentree, it became their property, not mine, and I do not pay for things that I do not own. Who does? They write one note in particular that said they are going to hire a local attorney from their end, pay him to sue me, and have the police come over here and take me to jail. Thats interesting! Whatever you do, make sure you do yourself a major favor and avoid Greentree, or Conesco, or whatever name they want to give themselves for the moment!
