Ripoff violates bankruptcy laws lies decietful practices!

I have owned a Mobile home financed by Greentree since 1995.in June of I filed for a Chapter7 Bankruptcy, and was given only two choices, to resign my contract or surrender my home, I resigned my Contract on my home and continued to pay my payments as before.

On April 1 I recieved a letter from the moblie home park where my home has been located since it was purchased, the park was closing and every home had to be removed by July 1. I contacted Greentree to let them know and to ask if we could refinance to gain the funds to move the home or atleast get a couple of payments rolled back, any assistance would have helped. They said they didnt do loans anymore, and did not do any refinancing. They would check on helping us if they could.

I checked into getting a hardship loan from my 401K at work and was able to get $5,500.00. So I thought I may be able to trade my home for a piece of land and a new home. Imagine my shock when I found out that Greentree didn't file the resign on my trailer and discharged my home in bankruptcy!

The payoff is the same as it was 5 years ago and the money that I have been sending each month for the last 5 years has just evaporated into thin air! Not only that, when I asked Greentree if this was a mistake, they assured me that it was and that I would have to have it changed through Experian the credit service. I got to work on that but it takes 4 to 6 weeks, about the same amount of time I had to move!

I had the mobile home moved on June 5, and when I called Greentree to inform them of the new location of our mobile home they informed me that it was not a mistake afterall, they had discharged my loan. The 2 payments they were supposed to roll back were now due and another on top of that. I did not own my home and I will never own my home. I had just spent $5,000.00 to move their mobile home. Not only that I have paid the property taxes and lot rent on their home for five years. The worse thing is that I would never of known if I hadn't had to move!

I was advised by my attorney to move out, because Greentree can come and take it. My wife and I are feeling heartbroken and betrayed, and angry and ready to fight someone. I hope with all of my heart that someone can stop Greentree from taking everything from the poor working man.
