Ripoff

I took 2-$100. Bills to the bank, they stood out because they each had red corners. I handed them to a teller working inside the bank, which usually would make you feel safe. I took this money in on my break from work. Later I received a phone call, stating that I left no cash with my earlier deposit. So I left work at that moment and preceeded to the bank to find out what happened to my money. The teller tried to tell me I only gave her the deposit slip, I retorted then why do I have a receipt? Then I asked for management, I went as far as to describe the money and conversation that had taken place. She stood her ground denying that I left any monies, so I said close my accounts and they said fine. I said no, all my accounts and when they seen along with the basic checking and saving accounts, I had two rather large CD accounts, along with a money market account.

Thee attitudes had a sudden disappearance just like my money. But along with the nasty attitude disappearance my money reappeared along with an entourage of apologies. What upset me the most is, if it wasn't for the fact that I had a large amount of money in the bank they would have let me close that account. That teller would have gotten clean away with stealing the money I had just deposited. What about those people who don't really have money in the bank? Like my daughter who let me express myself here today. Maybe that's why that particular branch closed down, things that make you go hmmm.
