Privacy Matters - ripoff fraud

Business & Finance

I really wish I had found this website (usacomplaints.com) sooner. I would have know that privacy matters is a R I P O F F! I think we should all be able to get together and sue this company. I logged onto google a couple of weeks ago, I typed in Free Credit Report, saw privacy matters and clicked on that. It stated I would get credit reports from three different bureaus I just had to fill out my credit card # and I would recieve them shortly. I stupidly gave my bank card # and NEVER received my credit reports, I then checked my bank a couple days ago and have been charged $29.95 from privacy matters!

For a membership I never asked for and these people NEVER answer their phones! Now Im reading that this company sells your credit card # to other companies which charge you for services you've never recieved. I worked for a co years ago who had several smaller co that put fliers in people's credit card bills (exp: Mail this back and receive a free radio) what people didn't realize was mailing that flier back is your "registration" with this other co and they charge your credit card $150 annually.

I quit soon after I realized how this co worked. I can't believe this co is getting away with this, how can they charge me $29.95 PER MONTH for a membership I never agreed to (the site said $1 proc fee which will be refunded) and then sell your card number to other sites without your permission! Something must be done about these co.
