Ripoff

We closed a refiance loan with Aegis on 08/25. On 08/17 they called and stated that they needed to have additional funds of $17,500. They closed the loan without having all the payoff figures. After calling to complain to them and threating to take legal action they stated that they would work with us to fix the issue. After waiting 3 more days I was informed the amount now needed was $60,000. It has been 2weeks since the closing and we still haven't resolved the issue.

When I complained they claim they were covered by a clause in the contract covering typo's and mistakes. This was no mistake they did knowing full well they didn't have the correct or full amounts.in checking this seems to happen often with this company.

As far as I am concerned I have a valid contract. I did not rescind the contract, and therfore feel that they are in material breach of contract. This is not a government contract that includes cost over runs. They agreed to payoff my mortgage and didn't.

As of today they still haven't resolved anything. At this point I will begin a personal assault on this company. I will sue in court, file complaints and charges with the Ct Banking and Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission. I will also park outside the company office with a sign letting any potential customers know thet type of firm they are doing business with. I am also going after the bond money posted by Aegis with the State in order to do business in this state.

Stay away from this company. It seems they don't care about getting it right on getting your money or home.
