Corp ripoff

I had a morgage with Aegis Mortgage Corp, and they are the worse company to deal with. I had recently decided to get away from this company, and refinance my mortgage, and requested a payoff, as well as the title company. Aegis gave great difficulty sending it to us, and on the closing day sent it to us with a payoff date of 10/14, not 9/19/05 as we requested, when we closed on 9/15, which made them recieve they movey on 9/19 the payoff date we requested (confirmed by the title company it was wired into the account), and they were suppose back the money of overpayment. The intertest is for 53.97 a day, which the owe me 24 days, which equals 1295.28. I called their customer service and they advise me I was getting 233.97 for 4 days worth of intertest, and no one can explain why. I was basically told that is how we calculate our payoffs and that is is... Where did customer service go, and when is the customer treated like crap.

Also, I became really sick, and had to be hosptalized, and called them before my morgage was due the next month, told them and they advised me if I do not pay I will get a late fee, and also they can not move that payment to the end of the loan, but I had to miss three months to get any assistance... I did manage to borrow the money to pay them, and the were paid on the 15, a day before the late charge would occur, and they did not credit me until then 20th.

Then they were calling me on 8/26 for my sept payment to ensure I will pay ontime, and did that 3 times a day until I paid on 9/1.

I advise all people to stay away from this company bad news and think customers are criminals and treat you that way.
