Ripoff bank robbers schemers

I received a green card in the mail back in march from these people saying that I had been approved for a $5,000 grant. After losing everything after hurricane Katrina I was willing to try it.

I called the number on the card and the rep to me that it would be $299.97 for the program and that I would receive $245 back after I got my grant. They told me that I would receive a questionnaire in the mail and once I received it to fill it out and return it as soon as possible. I gave them my information and the took the money out of my checking account.

Once I received the questionnaire I filled it out and the letter enclosed with it said that it would be 8-12 weeks before I would receive anything. Now it has been more than 12 weeks and I still haven't heard anything.

The numbers that they gave me are all non working numbers so I decided to look them up on the internet. I was so shocked that to find out that there are others who have been scammed just like I had been. I was already going through hard times after Katrina and to think that people are out that scheming to take someone's hard earned money is just wrong. Something should be done about these people!
