Ripoff

I was in a forebearance plan with Ocwen. I was told I would only have to pay my mortgage payment and as much as I could on the arrears when I started making the payments. Well this wasn't the case. I was told I had to make the full arrears payment each month.

I was a couple of months behind on the arrears and they called me and told me I had to pay $10,000 dollars in three months or I was going to lose my home. Well I did pay all of this. The last payment was a couple of weeks late and they sent it back to me and told me my house was going up for trustee sale. Their lawyers sent me a letter saying I needed to pay $10,860.00 to keep it out of trustee sale.

I had someone help me with the money and when he went to pay it they told him he has to pay $23,000. So he did without asking me. Every time I try to get any answer out of them about how it went from $10,860 to $23,000 they just keep saying it was reinstated to the original amount. How can they reinstate it to the original amount when I had payed it down to the $10,860. Where it the money I paid on this forbearance plan. I have statements showing that this was reduced by my payments. They would not respond to my attorney, and when they did they sent all the wrong information.

I finally found someone that understood what I was talking about and I thought I was actually going to get something done about it. But when I called back two days later to talk to him he was no longer working there. Funny how that happened isn't it. They still owe me alot of money. They charged me late penalties of $1300.00 two months in a row. How can there be a $1300.00 penalty on a $600.00 payment.

Because of all of the crap I have had to go threw to save my house I am now at a $1,200.00 a month payment which is killing me. I only owed $49,000 then and now because of the person who tried to help me and what I had to pay him back because of what he paid Ocwen (this person turned out to be a predatory lender and my worst nightmare). So by the time I fought him for two years to get my house back I ended up having to borrow more money from someone else to pay him and then more money to pay her. I ended up with this hugh monthly payment. All because Ocwen tried to rip me off.
