Vanderbilt Mortgage
Is very untrustworthy and rude. This company has called my references and has told them information regarding my account. Ripoff

Vanderbilt Mortgage is the only company that I have ever dealt with that will call your references and tell them all about your account and also that will take your payments up and will not send you any information as to why. My payments alone have gone up $60.00 dollars and I have asked for a reason and none is given.
I actually thought that we had privacy laws that had to be followed.

I was laid off three months ago and I am now working and I have not paid this months payment, due to the fact that this new job I work on pays at the end of the month now, and the CSR states that it does not matter and I must pay my bill. I have been called and harassed for the past three weeks and on Wednesday Melissa called me on my job and told me that I had until 8 pm that night to get it in or else. Then just today, they have called everyone on my reference list, once again on before 9 am in the morning and telling them I have 24 hours to do something or they will do what they have to do. I made a mistake giving them my new job number, but I was just being honest and truthful. Come on in this life we all go through some struggle, and we try our best to do what is right and upstanding. This company makes me want to say forget it all, but the only thing is where will me and my three children stay if I take on that type of attitude? There has to be something done. When I was out of work, even my car payment company helped me out tremendously. I really mean they helped me out tremendously. This company here does not understand that everyone is not a millionaire, or goes to the bathroom and doo doo out money.

I wish something could be done about Vanderbilt Mortgage, but I have made up my mind I am not going to be harassed into anything and I will pay them for this month and next month and the end of this month. That is the best we all can do. Do what we can when we can with what little we have.

A little bit means alot to me. But not to others.
