I had a truck stolen in October of 1996.insurance company paid the bank. After they went back and forth for years over the amount, the bank gave up. Then years later a collection agency picked up the account. I had to get a lawyer to stop them from harrasing me. Now they keep messing with my credit reports adding that I owe them more money each month. This is illegal, they can not collect extra money. Also it has been 10 years and no legal action by the bank or nor the collection agency has been taken, they just mess with my credit.
