LLC puts lien on my account illegally Ripoff

Asset Acceptance has put a lien on my account for a debt that I paid to another collection agency in 2003. It caused my account to be frozen and checks to bounce.

I forwarded all documentation that this debt has been paid and they still have not released the lien. The first proof was sent to them on 10/18/06. This is now the end of October and I'm still trying to get their law firm to release the lien.

I had to fax them four times with 15 pages of documentation that included notarized releases from the collection agency. Their lawyers said it wasn't enough and I had to get a letter from the collection agency. I got it over a week ago and it is still not resolved.

What else is going to linger? I see that there is a judgment on my credit report. I got the court documents and they supposedly talked to someone at a non-existent address down the street and taped something to our door in July. I never got it.
How do I get that removed?

I hate these people. IU see so many things written about Asset Acceptance that there should be a class action lawsuit against them. Help!
