Ripoff by wamu debit rewards card

Washington Mutual advertised WaMu Debit Rewards with 3% back up to $250 per year when you use your debit card. I specifically discussed this info in person at the local branch and opened up a new checking account with the debit card. But... You do not get 3% back... You get 3 cents each time you use the card regardless of dollar amount. To receive $250 a year from opening my account, I would have to use the debit card 8,333 times or almost 23 times each day for a year. What a ripoff!
