ASC - America's Servicing Company ripoff

I have been bothered by ASC's method of doing business. We were sold to them last November. This past month we received a notice from them that they were raising our mortgage payment by $50 each month to meet a shortage in our escrow account. Seeing that the former mortgage company did not keep a balance in the account.

They are demanding $431 by July or they will add the $50 per month.

I am dishartened to find that others are having the same problems by this same company. But, also glad to know that we are not alone.

I fully understand that there might be a raise in our monthly payment due to tax increases each year. But, we always had a surplus in our account from the former mortgage company.

I think a class action suit against these people. They are hurting the people who can least afford to have more money taken out of their monthly income. Besides it is bad business to keep customers on edge and uninformed.

I would like to hear from anyone who is in the same situation and give their opinions to this unfortunate event.
