Dishonest, You get no responses when you ask them for help during a hardship. Ripoff

I had my first mortgage loan with Homecomings Financial.
1 year later I refinanced, the broker put me with homecomings again. I had to pay almost $7,000 for a pre-payment penelty. And charged high fees for other stuff. I also believe that my home was appraised to high so that I would get the loan. Now if I would want to sell I would have to sell it for less and still owe homecomings. The appraiser also lied about the square footage on my house They had it at 1128 and it is only 964 square feet.

I fell into a hardship back in november. My husband's hours were cut. We lost about $300 a month. I called them when I first found out about it. I get absolutly nowhere with them. All they kept making me do was jump thru all their hoops, paperwork, financials, faxing them all this at least 3-4 different times and to different people there. They have not helped me one bit. I am not saying they owe me the world but a little compassion and a little honesty on there part.

Right now I stand in forclosure. It just went to the forclosure Dept. They are saying that they still have time to work with me because it takes a long time to forclose in Ohio.

I have contacted an attorney and they are telling me that I may have a case of preditory lending against them.

Good Luck to anyone who has them. I hope you too dont fall on hard times because you will never get any help from Homecomings Financial.
