Why Get It In Writting When Dealing With Greedy Liars? Anything to steal your money!

I had enough money in my checking account to cover my two authorized charges.

An internet company charged me two non-authorized charges that created an two overdrafts. The internet company promptly refunded the two un-authorized charges.

Wachovia charged me four overdraft fees totaling $124.00! This was three days before the end of the month. Before I was notified via postal mail a new month had started and Wachovia charged me another $124.00

I refused to pay! I was never notified. A year later I moved to another State. When I went to open a bank account I could not as I was told I was in chex-systems.

When I called Wachovia collections asking why I was never notified I was told they did not know my address. My address up until a week prior was the same address on my checking account.

I was offered a settlement. Wachovia said I owed $300??? And that if I paid 60% ($180) they would accept it as payment in full. I asked for and they provided the agreement in writting. I paid the $180.

A week later when I went to open a bank account I was still in chex-systems and could not open an account.

I called Wachovia collections and was told that until I pay $120. I would remain in chex-systems.

Can you imagine such outright greed, theft, fraud and extortion when I have in writing an agreement that my debt is settled and paid in full?

You have to be crazy to bank at Wachovia! They will do whatever it takes to squeeze/steal/defraud every penny they can from you! I think maybe they have financial problems themself and are ripping of the public to keep themself in luxury!
