Ripoff home equity extremist Ocean Springs

Benefical has the rip off business down to a fine art. We purchased a home last February, we did have instant equity on the home, so we took out a home equity loan with Benefical and nothing but problems from the start.

When it first started we asked for a corporate number, which no one is allowed to give out!!! Then on the 8th of March we refinanced our home when interest rates lowered, at the end of the month the company sent us a letter which stated that they would be unable to complete the refinancing, as we found out two weeks later when we needed to take an additional day off from work was the reason...

Benefical had noted the loan not as a home equity, but a second on the home and then when these rip offs were told to correct the error they used white out on the documenet...

Now we were finally in the process of a refinace we have requested a payoff and on the afternoon of the 3rd day we don't have one, my husband was hung up on 1st.

I called back and now they are telling me they don't know why the law states a payoff within three days. During the past two weeks my husband has received a credit card for household bank... Which is Benefical he has cut up the card.

These people should not be in business, the company as a whole seems to have majored in Rip Offs.
