First Premier Bank
Paying for the card, but can't use it!? Ripoff

Business & Finance

A few months ago I was going to participate in a debt management program, but decided against it-before I was debited any payments. I made my own arrangements, and I am doing very well with my own plans. My FPB Visa was on the list, and when I tried to use it, I was not able to.

I contacted customer service (ha!) they told me that I was in a Debt Management Program and that suspends my card. When I explained to them that I was not involved in a DMP the customer service rep didn't seem to care, and mind you I was not behind on my payments AT ALL. Now, I get to pay for a card that I have had and used for years-except I now cannot use it any more.

I am frustrated, I actually liked this company and have been very responsible with this card-and because I thought a DMP might be a good thing for me to take part in, I am being penalized for it and I never even went through with it.
