Capital One advertises themselves as the good guys, yet they do all the things they say they don't.
High interest, excessive charges, telemarketing, mail and phone harassement for about a year now.
We got behind on the payments and tried to work it out with them. They refused, kept stacking on late fees even with partial payments until they ran us over limit. Then also added overlimit fees.
At the last, they wanted over $800 immediately just to get current. When we couldn't pay, they started harassing us with phone calls and letters.
They refused to negotiate and turned us over to a collector who continues the harassment. They will not accept our inability to pay the amount they want and just keep at us.
