Merchant overchargered me $200, my bank raped me for over $1000 thru paypal linked to my debit/visa card Temecula California

Claimes by others are true, I had a company over charge me thru paypal linked to my debit/visa card. I caught this right away. The merchant initially seemed honest, but slow to simply refund thru paypal. I spoke with Paypal, no quarantees because the fees were listed as shipping fees, seperate from original purchase. I was assured the fees were returned on Friday Nov. 10 and pending from their account when I drove to a warehouse to pick up tires. It was a holiday weekend, I knew I had about $215 in my account, the fee was suppossed to be $30. I told bank and merchant I had 11 small checks coming in totaling under $100. I was relieved when merchant said I could come get the $ Mon (holiday) if worse came to worse. That was the last I heard from them for several weeks.

In 3 days my account had $570 in fees. I filed claims, but my next check was taken on Nov. 15, combined with bill pay for a few small bills with none of my direct deposit ($600) to cover them I owed $400 in fees.

I could not pay credit cards $29x5 cards late fees. The bank needed $ returned by merchant to reverse mer. Error to reverse fees. Finally 12/12/06 I took a check and doc. S for proof. Cashier said better cash check incase stop placed. Deposit was made as cash-no reversal on fees.

I am tried of fighting, ruined xmas& credit. I still can't catch up. Concidering bankrupcy now. I also had beed a customer for 10 years, never had overdrawn, and had their PMA account. Nothing mattered, I concidered this a bankers error, but they don't care. I am tired of crying, to add insult - if I close my account the will remove small discount on 2nd I have with them.

I can't refi or afford increase. I have never missed mortgage or auto payment but somehow this has snowballed. Wells Fargo customer service has repeatedly hung up when suprvisor requested. Consumer beware!
