America's Servicing Company
Foreclosure notice, the company has failed to respond after several attempts, all information they requested has been done and still no response

Business & Finance

Thirteen months ago our morgage was sold to America's Servicing Company by Ameriquest Mortgage. I should have known there was going to be a problem with this company after I found out I had no insurance on my house because payments were not received from America's Servicing Company.

America's Servicing Company told us that they had not received any of our insurance information from our previous mortgage company, although Ameriquest said they forwarded over all of our information.

Since then, my husband lost his job and we were having problems making the mortgage payments. We were behind several months.

After making several attempts of filing Financial Worksheets trying to get a repayment plan, we were served with foreclosure papers. During the times of filing the Financial Worksheets we were told not to send any payments because they would be refused. They could only except the full past due balance.

Our property is set to be sold on February 6. I contacted America's Servicing Company January 3 to let them know that my husband had become employed and asked them what we can do to stop the foreclosure.

They sent us a letter explaining to us that we had to fill out another financial worksheet and fax it and other documents by the the 13th of January. Everything was faxed over on the 12th. The letter also stated that we needed to send $1000.00 which was non-refundable to cover fees. This was to be sent by the 17th of January. On the 12th of January I also sent $1000.00 by way of Quick Collect to them.

A few days later I received a letter from Western Union that I had money waiting for me to pick up. I received information that the money was sent back to us from America's Servicing Company.

I immediately contacted America's Servicing Company to find out what was going on. They informed me that I was approved for a repayment plan but it was still in process. I asked them why the $1000.00 was sent back and they told me that my account was closed on January 11, therefore they could not accept any money. This does not make since at all.

We have contacted them between three to four times a week trying to figure out what we can do to keep our home. Every response is "It is still in Process"

On February 6th I contacted them again and of course it is still in process, but they did tell me to contact the attorney's office that is handling the foreclosure to find out what I need to reinstate the loan. So I called them and they told me it would take 5 to 7 working days to get this completed. I only have two days.

I don't know what they are doing, but I am very upset because my home is going to be foreclosed on the 9th and I have done everything that they have requested from me. I don't know what else to do to stop the foreclosure.
