Darlene Attempt to RIP OFF! National

Yesterday evening (01/26) I received a phone call from a company called New Credit Financial. The service rep went by the name of Darlene. She proceeded to tell me that I had applied for their credit card - I knew right away that something was not quite right because I remember who I apply with.

She continued to tell me that I needed to re-establish my credit and that I would be able to do so through NCF. She proceeded to be very adamant about getting my banking account number and routing number so that she could check to see if I am in good standing with the bank.

She had already lied twice. If she were not concerned about my credit, then why would she care about whether or not I was in good standing with the bank. Also, she informed me that there were ABSOLULTELY NO FEES OF ANY KIND! She also informed me that I was approved up to $2000.. MY credit is not good at all right now and any legit institution would not be so trusting.

I refused to give her ANY of my financial information and told her that I would need to check the institution out via the BBB before agreeing to anything. I verified the site this afternoon and identified the CATCH! They want your banking info so that they can draft $300 from your account.

It is not a fee, but a deposit. This is a SCAM and they are THIEVES! I am a single mom with 3 kids and if they had taken that money from my account it would have cost me dearly, because I would have had bounced checks which of course would have caused so much more damage to my family and myself.

Somebody PLEASE put a stop to these people. You or someone close to you that you care about could be the next victim.
