Attempted to obtain checking info.in order to defraud me of $300

I received a phone call from a real friendly gentleman named"Tony". He said his company, "new financial credit" had received my name and address and phone # from a partnered lending institution where i had been denied credit because of "insufficient credit". After verifiing that i was indeed "me", i was transferred to another nice gentlman that informed me he was "ken". I was desparately wanting to establish credit so i went along for a while, giving "ken" my checking account # but i withheld my routing #. I was promised a $2500. Unsecured line of credit, with a $1,000. Cash withdrawal access after 6 mo. Of good payments.

After being told of a $300."deposit" which would promptly be returned to me in 4-$100. Vouchers, i promptly asked for a call back #, and told "ken that i would get back in touch after doing a little research.
"ken" assured me that they were a member in good standing of the st, petersburg, BBB. I only hope that they cant access my $ without my routing #. Either way, i'll be on the phone with my bank first thing in the morning.
