Ocwen
Refusing to give new lender payoff on mortgage, won't let me leave ripoff

My loan was sold to Ocwen this past fall from Aegis. I never had a problem with them until I decided to refinance my house with another company. I have two loans with Ocwen and they still have yet to give off my pay off amounts to my new bank. I have been approved with my new bank since late Dec. I have faxed Ocwen over 10 times asking them to release my information on my loan to my new lender.

To this day I still have no success. I always get told to call certain numbers and I am always on hold for 40 minutes and always get transferred to someone else who puts me on hold. Like most people I work, and I can't afford 40 minutes a day for something so simple. It's like they are out right refusing to issue the pay off amount to my new bank.

I feel like I am stuck and don't knwo where to turn. It's so serious my new mortgage company is going to consult their lawyer. I don't want to give Ocwen any more of my money but after hearing about all the foreclosure scandals I am scared. This is my first house and I love it and want to keep it.
