Ripoff unjust bank fee

I have been banking with chase since 1986. The bank was well aware that the only deposits I would ever make are SSD and W/Comp. On Dec 23 I tried to take money and did not understand why. I went to my local branch Dec 29 at earliest (due to holiday.) I was informed my account was frozen due to a judgement. I'm not hear to dispute the judgement even though I was not aware one existed however, the monies were released along with the aggravation that went with it. To my surprize, the Chase charged me a processing fee of $125. It has been 12 days of nothing but a run around, walk-ins to branch banks who told me to call a number in Baton Rouge Louisiana, to then told me to call the corporate headquarters in Manhattan. NY who instructed me to go to the branch. This went on and on. The branch told me they cannot overturn the fee charged call our legal department. The legal department told me to call the corporate headquartes in New York and they told me to go to the branch. The bottom line is this...

Chase knew from the start you cannot freeze bank accounts that have SSD, SSI, Pensions, workers/comp ect. I get 2 I just mentioned. They said "our legal dept has no way of knowing where the money came from." Although the branch itself made copies of all the checks from their own data base. They don't know!!! I am now taking Chase to small claims court. How can the bank separate themselves from their own legal dept. The part I don't get is that the branch manager said "this could happen again... If you had the proof from the start of 1986 and had the proof when this happened, why do you have to have the proof again and again? I will keep you informed on the small claims issue.
