Managing your account with BB&T is very difficult. If you use your ATM card for a transaction, sometimes it does not appear on your account for a week or more. Cash deposits made before 2PM do not show up the next day, but on the following day.

Deposits made after 2PM do not show up for 2 days. NSF penalties are posted before deposits are made on the same day, causing the deposit to be used for NSF penalties rather than to bring account up to date. I have had this problem with a credit union also.

All of the online transactions are supposed to make life easier, in fact it is making life very frustrating, complicated and expensive for the average consumer. I am seriously thinking about going back to cash and money orders.
