Screwed up my credit over $65. Oo and i did not know

Direct TV placed my account for $265.00 with Allied Interstate Inc. A collection company which contacted me and said if I would pay them $200.00 they would settle the account. So I paid even though I did not agree with the amount I figured I would pay instead of letting it hurt my credit. Well I just found out last week when I had my finance manager at work pull my credit report, THAT THEY HAD NOT SETTLED BUT CHARGED OFF $65.00 to damage my credit score. The bad part is that was almost 5 years ago and I just found out last week. I have had a $65.00 charge off damaging my credit for the last 5 years and didn't even know it.

I cant find any way of settling this charge off, cant find a number for Allied Interstate Inc. Anyone with info. On how to contact this WONDERFUL company called Allied please send me some info.
