Ripoff unauthorized $200 checking account scam and rude employees

I recently received a phone call from Capital Financial about qualifying for their card. I too was promised my 200 dollars back in payment vouchers.

But this is where my story takes a turn at the end of our telephone conversation the man I was talking to told me he had forgotten to ask me if I was an authorized signer on my checking account and now he would have to call me back in 2 days and do this process all over again. He apologized saying this was only his second day at this job which also explains why he told me this was a Capital One card as well.

So I thought nothing eles about it since I received no other phone calls from them. Until I was checking my account balances and learned that I was overdrawn. Finding out what was going on I learned that they had gone ahead and removed my funds from the bank.

I too called them up requesting my money back and was told that I would have to put my request in writting to some other department of their company. When I explained what had happened the man I was speaking to all but called me a liar and then yelled at me to get a piece of paper and a pen to take down the address I now needed to write to.

Then I told he I was going to contact my bank and have them deal with this he mockingly repeated go ahead, go ahead as if it were a dare. I definitely learned my lesson about giving out my bank account info and will never do it again that's for sure.

Now I just am forced to go through the long process of trying to get my money back and meanwhile I'am occurring overdraft fees on everthing that is comeing back into my account that the 200 dollars was meant to cover. This is a very exspensive lesson for me.
